Textile machinery

Gears, pulleys and sprockets for weaving, knitting and spinning machines.

Textile machines run for long hours at high speed, so wear on gears and pulleys is common. Since many manufacturers no longer supply spare parts, making parts from samples extends the life of the machine.

Frequently made parts

  • Drive gears for weaving and knitting machines
  • Timing pulleys and tension rollers
  • Sprockets
  • Plastic (POM, PA) gears

Plastic gears

Where quiet, lubrication-free running is needed, gears can be made from engineering plastics such as POM or PA. Plastic gears are light and cause less wear on the mating gear.

Frequently asked questions

How durable are plastic gears?

They last a long time within a suitable load and temperature range. Under high load or temperature, steel gears are preferred. Tell us the operating conditions and we will recommend a suitable material.

Do you make gears for imported machines?

Yes. The machine's origin doesn't matter; dimensions are taken from a sample or drawing. Inch-based (DP) gears are also considered instead of module gears.
