How it works
Here you can find every step, from sending your request to receiving your part.
Four ways to send a request
With a technical drawing
If you have a technical drawing, upload it as PDF, DWG, DXF or STEP. If the drawing shows the module, number of teeth, material and tolerances, this is the fastest way to a quote.
With a sample (the old part)
If you want to replace a broken or worn gear without a drawing, we can work from a sample. In the form, choose whether you will send the sample by courier or drop it off in person. The address for sending it is shared after you approve the quote. Dimensions are taken from the sample; worn teeth are restored to the standard profile.
With photos
If you can't send the part right away, photos are often enough for a preliminary quote. Photograph the part next to a ruler or caliper, straight on and in good light, and add a close-up of the teeth. If exact dimensions can't be taken from the photos, we will ask you for a few measurements or a sample.
If you have none of these
Describe what you need: the machine where the part is used, details of the mating gear and the shaft diameter are enough to start. Our technical team will call you and fill in the missing information with you.
From request to delivery
Every request has a number. You can follow the process online with it.
-
1. Request
When you send the form you get a request number such as DU-2026-0001. We also confirm by e-mail that we have received your request.
-
2. Quote
Our technical team reviews the request and calls you if needed. Within 48 hours it e-mails a quote with unit price, total, lead time and payment terms. You can also download the quote as a PDF.
-
3. Approval and deposit
You approve the quote from the link in the e-mail and enter your billing and delivery details at the same time. Production starts when the deposit reaches our account. You can upload the receipt on your order page.
-
4. Production and delivery
The part is made and inspected in our partner workshops. The remaining amount is paid before delivery; the part is shipped by courier or handed over in person.
Payment, invoicing and delivery
Payments are made by bank transfer. The deposit rate and amount are shown in the quote; the remaining amount is paid before delivery. Your invoice is issued with the details you enter when approving the quote.
For courier deliveries, the carrier and tracking number appear on your order page. You can also collect the part in person.
The lead time in the quote starts on the day the deposit is received. During production, the status of your order (in production, quality control, ready, shipped) is updated on your order page.
Questions about the process
Is there a minimum order quantity? Do you make single parts?
There is no minimum order quantity. We also make a single spare gear for a stopped machine. For series orders the unit price usually drops; just enter the quantity you need in the quote form.
Do you charge for quotes?
No. Quotes are free and place you under no obligation to buy. We send your quote within 48 hours at the latest.
I don't have a technical drawing. Can you make the part from the old one?
Yes. We can use an old, broken or worn part as a sample. Dimensions are taken from the sample and worn areas are restored to the standard profile. The address for sending the sample is shared after you approve the quote.
What is the lead time?
The lead time depends on the type, size and material of the gear, any heat treatment and the quantity. Every quote states the lead time, which starts on the day the deposit is received. For urgent needs, tick "My machine is down, urgent" in the form.
Can I get a quote with just photos?
In most cases, yes. Photograph the part next to a ruler or caliper, straight on and in good light, and add a close-up of the teeth. If exact dimensions cannot be taken from the photos, we will ask you for a few measurements or a sample.
